Water Industry Practitioner, Business Development & Growth

John Flynn has been involved with the water treatment industry for over 30 years. With an education in Industrial Chemistry, John developed a water treatment business as a division of Millipore Corporation, successfully building a business in water treatment for Medical and Pharmaceutical applications. After leaving as Managing Director of the Millipore Australian subsidiary, John then developed subsidiaries in Singapore and in China. The experience in the Asian semiconductor industry and energy markets further developed his interest in pure water applications. Based in Hong Kong, John joined US Filter and then Glegg Water Canada, the latter of which was acquired by GE in 2000. After 3 years in the Power market with GE in Asia, John returned to Australia and commenced with Osmoflo in 2004. John has been involved in Business Development of Power Station water plants and cooling tower water recovery systems in Australia and S.E. Asia.

John joined Water Rentals in 2020 to focus on the growing opportunities in fast-delivery rental water plants. His primary involvement has been in water treatment for Mining, Gas, and Energy projects on Australia’s east coast.
